On Thursday, December 11th, 2025, Liverpool 5G’s open source private 5G network, built with Open RAN architecture, successfully supported multiple events during the Labour Party Conference. The conference, which took place at Liverpool’s events campus from September 28th to October 1st, 2025, saw meetings and events at the M&S Bank Arena benefit from the locally managed, open-source 5G technology.
