Veuve Clicquot has announced the shortlist for its 2025 Bold Woman and Bold Future Awards, honouring six trailblazing female entrepreneurs and leaders who are reshaping their industries through innovation, determination and social impact.

Now in its 53rd year, the award is the longest-running international accolade of its kind, providing a platform for women driving business forward.

Bold Woman Award finalists

Dame Julia Hoggett, DBE

Chief Executive of London Stock Exchange Group plc and Head of Digital and Securities Markets for LSEG. Under her leadership, the London Stock Exchange remained Europe’s top venue for raising equity capital in 2024, solidifying its global reputation despite economic challenges.

Vivien Wong

Founder of Little Moons, a disruptive ice cream brand now sold in 36 countries. Established in 2010, Little Moons has taken on long-standing industry giants, winning a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2022 and exemplifying bold, strategic thinking in a highly competitive market.

Anne Aslett

Chief Executive Officer of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, where she has expanded global annual revenues from around $1 million to $30 million. This surge in funding has allowed the charity to reach hundreds of thousands of people in 42 countries, marking its highest-ever annual grant distributions.

Bold Future Award finalists

Ayesha Ofori

Founder and CEO of Propelle, the UK’s first female-focused investment platform, designed to empower women to build lasting financial confidence and wealth. Previously an executive director at Goldman Sachs managing over half a billion pounds for high-net-worth clients, Ofori draws on extensive financial expertise to help women invest.

Insiya Jafferjee

Co-founder and CEO of Shellworks, a venture breaking reliance on petroleum-based plastics with its pioneering material, Vivomer. A former Apple manufacturing specialist, Jafferjee is advancing plastic alternatives that function like conventional plastic but without the associated environmental or health impacts.

Nina Mohanty

Founder and CEO of Bloom Money, a fintech start-up offering digitised community savings clubs (Bloom Circles) for immigrant communities. After roles at the US Embassy in London and major fintech players Klarna, Starling Bank, and Mastercard, Mohanty is championing secure, accessible financial tools for those new to the UK.

Celebrating female entrepreneurship

Following in the footsteps of trailblazers including Tracy Blackwell (CEO of Pension Insurance Corporation), Professor Sarah Gilbert (University of Oxford’s Covid-19 vaccine lead), and Anne Pitcher (CEO of Selfridges Group), the 2025 Bold Award winners will be announced at the end of April.

Jean-Marc Gallot, president of Veuve Clicquot, says the finalists “exemplify the courageous and forward-thinking spirit of Madame Clicquot,” whose legacy dates back to 1805. “They show that pioneering ideas and social change can go hand in hand with commercial success.”

Fellow judge Bridget Lea, VP of Snap Inc., praises the group for forging new paths in finance, sustainability and beyond, despite systematic barriers. “These remarkable women aren’t just pushing forward—they’re paving the way for every woman who follows.”

The Bold Woman and Bold Future Awards form part of an international programme spanning 27 countries, having recognised 450 women leaders to date.
