Edinburgh-based renewable energy developer Brockwell Energy has celebrated key achievements at its flagship North Kyle wind farm in East Ayrshire, representing a landmark step in the transformation of one of Scotland’s largest former coal mining sites. The project, which began construction in 2023, has successfully installed its first 20 turbines, each reaching a maximum tip height of 149.9 metres.
