Matt Altman, star of “Million Dollar Listing,” has made a significant impact in the luxury real estate market alongside his brother, Josh.

Known for his sharp business acumen and dedication, Matt has helped elevate the Altman Brothers into a household name in the industry. Matt’s wife, Johanna Altman, is a wellness advocate who champions a holistic approach to health and family life. Together, they balance their professional successes with their commitment to family and personal growth.

What inspires you both in your professional careers, and how do you integrate these inspirations into your personal lives?

Matt Altman: For me, inspiration comes from the thrill of closing deals and the satisfaction of finding perfect properties for my clients. It’s about the challenge and the creativity involved in real estate. I try to bring that same passion and enthusiasm home, channeling it into family activities and our personal projects.

Johanna Altman: I’m inspired by the profound impact that a balanced lifestyle can have on one’s health and happiness. In our home, I focus on creating an environment that supports both our physical and mental well-being. This means everything from nutritious meals to spaces that encourage relaxation and connection.

Matt, as a top real estate agent, what trends are you currently seeing in the luxury market, and how do you adapt to them?

Matt Altman: The luxury market is always evolving, but one constant is the demand for unique, high-quality properties. Lately, there’s a trend towards homes that offer not just luxury but also sustainability and smart technology. Adapting to these trends means continuously educating myself and my team on market shifts and ensuring we offer what’s not only trending but also valuable.

Johanna, wellness is a broad concept. Can you share how you define wellness in your family and how you maintain it?

Johanna Altman: Wellness for us is about harmony and balance. It’s not just about physical health—it’s also about mental and emotional well-being. We maintain this by setting routines, like regular family meals and outdoor activities, which ground us and strengthen our bonds. We also prioritize open communication about our needs and feelings, which keeps our family unit strong.

How do you both manage the challenges of raising a family while maintaining high-profile careers?

Matt Altman: It’s definitely a balancing act. Having a supportive partner in Johanna makes all the difference. We make sure to synchronize our schedules as much as possible and prioritize important family events and milestones.

Johanna Altman: Flexibility and prioritization are key. We also believe in quality over quantity when it comes to time spent. Even if we have just an hour together as a family, we make it count, whether it’s a quick game night or a short walk around the neighborhood.

Matt, in your high-stakes real estate career, what has been the most memorable deal you’ve closed?

Matt Altman: Every deal has its own story, but closing on a historical landmark property was particularly memorable. Not only was it a complex transaction due to its status, but it was also rewarding to know that we were helping preserve a piece of history. It’s deals like these that remind me why I love what I do.

Johanna, with your focus on wellness, how do you incorporate wellness into a busy lifestyle, especially with young children?

Johanna Altman: It starts with setting a personal example. The kids see how Matt and I make time for our health, whether it’s through exercise, meditation, or healthy eating. We involve them as much as possible in cooking and physical activities that are suitable for their ages. Making wellness a fun family affair helps everyone stay committed.

Looking forward, what are some aspirations you both have for your family and careers?

Matt Altman: Professionally, I want to continue growing our business and mentoring new agents entering the luxury market. Personally, I hope to keep fostering a loving and supportive environment for our family as our children grow and start to pursue their own interests and passions.

Johanna Altman: I’d like to expand my advocacy for wellness by writing and speaking more about how families can achieve healthier lifestyles together. For our family, I dream of traveling more with the kids, showing them different cultures and environments, which is a fantastic way to educate and bond as a family.

Matt Altman and Matt Altman’s Wife Johanna continue to inspire many with their dedication to both their professional fields and their family. Their journey reflects a powerful blend of ambition, compassion, and mindfulness.
